Sophie is a freelance theatre and opera director, CEO of SWAP’ra (Supporting Women and Parents in Opera), and Artistic Director of HeadFirst Productions. She has directed productions for companies including HeadFirst Productions, Fulham Opera, Hampstead Garden Opera, Riverside Opera/Rose Theatre Kingston, Celebrate Voice, and Re:Sound Music Theatre/Oxford Lieder Festival, and has worked as an Assistant Director for companies including Opera North, Buxton International Festival, Iford Arts and Opera up Close.
