HeadFirst Productions | Founder & Artistic Director

Founded in 2013, HeadFirst Productions produced mid-scale opera and theatre with high production values. Its work was socially engaged, embracing ever-shifting perceptions and paradigms.

HFP was committed to creating work that is dynamic, engaging and exciting. The company strived to increase accessibility to the arts by producing exceptional work that is appealing for a new audience as well as for regular theatre-goers. It supported emerging talent and delivered outreach work for young people and adults alongside its programme of public events and productions.

Below is a selection of major projects that Sophie conceived and delivered:

A ten-day, multi-arts festival which showcased wide ranging work from eight different theatre companies, supporting both young artists and established theatre and music makers.

The Concert for Nepal | Creative Producer

A Music Marathon in aid of Unicef UK's Earthquake Appeal in Nepal. Spitalfields Market in London played host to an entire afternoon of classical music, dance and spoken word in order to fundraise for Unicef’s Earthquake Appeal.

Performers from all stages in their careers – from world-class performers to new, young talent – came together in order to raise a considerable amount of money for Unicef’s relief work in Nepal.
